We are thrilled to announce that Hand in Hand Activities CIC has received an incredible £5,000 donation from The Co-op! This amazing contribution was won by a Co-op Member through their app game, Owned by Who?, in August. While we don’t yet know who this generous member is, we hope they will make themselves known so we can personally thank them for choosing us to receive this wonderful prize.
This funding will make a real difference to the work we do in the community. While we are still finalising plans for how best to allocate the donation for maximum positive impact, we can confirm it will help us:
• Relaunch our “Happy Wanderers” day trip programme, providing meaningful outings for local people; and
• Provide trishaw rides, offering fun, accessible experiences for individuals who might otherwise struggle to get out and about.
